Tulsa Quartet Violist Chelsea Peterson
Viola: Rich Harmonic Voice of the String Quartet
"If you want to add excitement to your wedding, there is nothing like introducing the unpredictability of a toddler. As a mom of a three-year-old, I know how easily things can take a unexpected left turn. The great thing about having live musicians accompany ring-bearers and flower girls, is that the pace of the music can be altered to match the little ones' speed, and can be gracefully continued until they eventually make it to their stopping spot." —Chelsea
Chelsea Peterson has performed in a variety of ensembles including the Blue Ridge Orchestra, the Warren Wilson College String Band, the University of North Carolina-Asheville Chamber Orchestra, and the Tulsa Community Orchestra. Earlier experiences include serving as principal violist in the Tulsa Youth Symphony and Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. Chelsea is a founding member of the Tulsa Quartet. When she's not playing her viola, you can find Chelsea working at Undercroft Montessori School or out exploring in nature.
