Tulsa Quartet Violinist Hayley Peterson
First Violin: Soaring Soprano Beauty
"As a quartet we are conscious of both the music and the people in the wedding. When the bride reaches the altar, we come to a graceful stopping point in the music—the end of a musical phrase, which we make sound like the end of the piece. With pre-recorded music, there is no tapering and slowing of sound; it is just stopped with a jolt." — Hayley
Hayley Peterson has performed in quartets and ensembles including the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory, the 99th Street Quartet, the Belle Musica Quartet, and the Tulsa Community Orchestra. Early experiences include serving as co-concertmaster for Tulsa Youth Symphony and concertmaster for Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. Hayley is a founding member of the Tulsa Quartet. She also works as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Tulsa Public Schools and enjoys playing tennis in her spare time.
